High carbon wire rod (typically 0.45% to 0.85% carbon) is used for high-strength applications such as PC strand, spring wire, and tire cord. · Controlled Cooling — Stelmor conveyor cooling or equivalent process provides uniform mechanical properties and a manageable scale layer suitable for mechanical descaling or pickling.
· Smooth Surface Finish — Low incidence of surface defects such as laps, slivers, and scale pockets that can interrupt high-speed wire drawing operations.
· Coil Packaging — Coils are compressed and strapped with a minimum of four steel bands, with individual coil tags showing heat number, grade, diameter, weight, and production date for full traceability.

·Wire Drawing — The most common use, where rod is drawn through carbide dies to produce wire for construction tying, fencing, baling, and general industrial use.
·Galvanized Wire Production — Low carbon wire rod drawn and hot-dip or electro-galvanized produces wire for gabions, chain-link fencing, barbed wire, and agricultural applications.
·Nail and Fastener Manufacturing — Wire rod is the feedstock for nail-making machines, producing common nails, concrete nails, roofing nails, and other wire-formed fasteners.
·Welded Wire Mesh — Drawn wire from rod is fed into automatic mesh welding lines to produce panels for concrete reinforcement, fencing, and industrial grating.
·PC Strand and Prestressed Wire — High carbon wire rod is drawn and stranded for prestressed concrete applications in bridges, railway sleepers, and high-rise construction.
·Welding Electrodes — Specific grades of wire rod are drawn, straightened, cut, and coated to produce manual arc welding electrodes for structural and pipe welding.

Packing:
H sections sections are bundled in uniform lot sizes and secured with steel strapping to prevent shifting during transport. Each bundle is tagged with heat number, grade, dimensions, and weight for clear identification at the destination. For ocean freight, bundles are loaded into containers or onto flat-rack platforms depending on length, with edge protectors applied at contact points to avoid surface damage.
