October Stainless Steel Exports in Japan Increased by 10.5%
According to data released by the Japan Iron and Steel Federation (JISF), in October, Japan's stainless steel exports increased 10.5% MoM to 85,139 tonnes.
In October, Japan's stainless steel exports to South Korea increased by 40.3% mom, stainless steel exports to China increased by 36.5% mom, stainless steel exports to the United States increased by 42.5% mom, stainless steel exports to Taiwan, China increased by 42.3% mom. However, Japan's stainless steel exports to Thailand decreased by 30.4% from the previous month.
In October, the average export price of stainless steel in Japan dropped 3.6% MoM to US $ 3,215 / tonne while the total export volume of stainless steel reached US $ 273.69 million.
